“As an artist, my mission is to communicate how I see the world through the lens of my art. I don’t create to boast or impress. I create because it is vital to my well being…because it is my favorite form of communication…because I want to” -Wellington
Sultry vocalist and songwriter Wellington Bullings’ music is smooth like honey; sweet and heavy with mood. Her music encompasses influences from Norah Jones, Sade, Esperanza Spalding, and Lianne La Havas, with themes of self-empowerment and love.
Vocalist and model, Wellington Bullings grew up in the mountains of Boulder, Colorado. Her Jamaican father exposed her to many different styles of caribbean music early on in her life. While she was deeply influenced by her Jamaican roots, she couldn’t help but fall in love with jazz and soul music. This passion led her to Boston, where she attended the prestigious Berklee College Of Music. Soon after she started performing, writing, and placing music in Film & TV. Her most recent composition titled, “Notice Me” was featured in an indie film called “The Price Of Silence.”
Outside of Wellington’s blossoming music career, she has worked as a successful fashion/print model for high end brands such as Olay Skincare, Secret Deodorant, Crocs Footwear, and more. Wellington is also an established vocal instructor who has taught for 5+ years, and she continues to teach in the Denver area.
