Trouble’s Braids is a musical duo from Boulder, Colorado that creates dynamic folk music with teeth. They have been featured artists at the Boulder Theater, The St. Julien Hotel, Spirit Hound Distillery, Bricks on Main, Trident Cafe, Roxy on Broadway, Rock Inn Estes Park, Bootstrap Brewing, Gold Hill Store, Laughing Goat, Beyond the Mountain Brewing, Roots Music Project, and many others. The band is actively booking out across Colorado. Trouble’s Braids combines poignant lyricism, rich female and male harmonies, and great hooks with an unflinching curiosity about the dark and hidden corners of the human experience, all with a wink and a nod that invites the audience to come play.

"The Ghost of Caroline" refers to both a band and a song. The band, consisting of Anna Cutler and Will Thomas, performs folk music with harmonies and evocative songwriting, often described as "floral scenes and feel-good heartache". The band also has a song titled "Ghost of Caroline," which was written by Bryan Copeland and is about falling in love with someone who had been abused. Bryan Copeland has also written and performed a song called "Ghost of Caroline".
