High Lonesome was formed in Atlanta in 2018 and quickly became one of the top bluegrass bands in the region. The band has gone through a few transitions since then, including a move to Colorado’s Front Range. 

Founder, singer, and songwriter Chuck Sitero is joined by multi-time Rockygrass instrument contest winner Tyler Rennix on guitar, Kansas State Fiddle and Picking Champion Jonah Chilton on mandolin, Brandt Miller of the Wrecklunds on banjo, and fellow east-coast transplant Matt Thomas on bass. The band puts a new spin on traditional, hard-driving bluegrass with a sound built around impeccable picking and tight vocal harmonies.
