About Emelise
Emelise is a singer/songwriter from the Rocky Mountain Front Range, whose passion for making music brings an infectious new energy to a classic sound. Ever since she started performing at age six, she has often been described as having the voice of an old soul. While she enjoys playing covers by her influences periodically, Emelise primarily performs songs from her own catalog.
In 2017, Emelise placed first in The Stars of Tomorrow Competition at the world famous New York's Apollo Theatre. She has performed in premiere events in North America including TedX Uncommon in Denver, Move the Dial in Toronto, LA's Winston House, and the Denver Women’s March. Emelise also enjoys street performing which has led to her booking shows across the country at coffee shops, farmer’s markets, microbreweries, festivals, as well as traditional music venues. No matter where she’s playing, her voice demonstrates one thing very clearly: she is an unstoppable powerhouse who can captivate any audience.
About Angel CorsiÂ
Angel Corsi is a BIPOC folk/soul artist and former pugilist fighting for somber people seeking hope and belonging.
The Colorado-based songwriter's personal ans succinct writing style takes the listeners through contemplative vignettes that navigate a range of topics such as, "belonging", "childhood trauma", "forgiving yourself", Â "systemic and politically charged oppression" and "finding true love" in all of it's forms.
Angel channels his fighting spirit in each performance. Willing to break his heart & soul apart in listening rooms and storyteller house concerts across the United States, UK, and Canada.
Angel's authenticity is immediately felt through tales of a varied past and a cultural clash of life experiences with complex people in complex and sometimes systemic situations. His empathy and intenstiy is in full force whether he is screaming and wailing with an electric guitar, that earned him the moniker of a "Chicano Bruce Springsteen" or bringing the emotional depth and closeness of a weathered but determined troubadour.
Angel's straightforward musicality in combination with a direct, no frills lyric approach proudly carries the torch of traditional folk through a new lens.
