Banshee Tree will be performing an intimate, Hi-Def, LIVE STREAM set from the Stone Cottage Studios in Boulder.

Banshee Tree (Boulder/Denver Co) blends acoustic and electric instruments to create a new sound that takes influence from early jazz and swing and launches it into the modern music scene with trance, psych rock, soul and pop influences. Forming in 2014 by Thomas LaFond, BT grew to include Jason Bertone on bass, Nick Carter on fiddle and Michelle Pietrafitta on drums. They are currently recording their debut album as this new iteration of Banshee Tree and will be back on the road as soon as 

Banshee Tree formed about four years ago as an acoustic swing band, complete with a washboard player. Over the last two years, though, it has expanded its swing-music roots to include more modern influences.

Banshee Tree’s transformation in sound and style was accompanied by a change in its lineup. The band brought in Jason Bertone (upright bass), Nick Carter (violin) and Michelle Pietrafitta (drums). The only remaining member of the original band is Thomas LaFond, who plays guitar and writes the band’s music and lyrics.
